Artist's Comments

I cannot believe I got this without a tripod. But, if I had had one, it would have been more clear. DOH!

hmm you really know how to push the coolpix to its limits, but i guess the one good thing about the coolpix is that the zoom goes up to 300!

your verymuch welcome, I hope to read your poetry soon, I've been reading Alec's and it does inspire me to take some photos...truth be told living in a concrete jungle isn't very "inspiring" to take pictures haha.

Hmm ever considered going into DSLRs? I mean for their ability to swap lenses etc

What I do in my own concrete jungle is look for themes...people...emotions on faces...actions...urban decay...and just go have fun. They aren't as cool as nature shots but some are awesome. I love architecture too so those pics are fun in the city as well. :)

hmm people here are generally not too friendly towards a guy holding a camera =/ Architecture tho does catch my eye pretty often but after u've shot most of them thats it=/ after all Singapore is very small. Only 42KM wide (divide by 1.6 to convert to miles)

To me the moment I step out of another country's airport I'm instantly inspired. Third world or developed country, it don't matter...some how a new scene is in need...can't wait for September ^_^

To get that one shot, I took at least 10. My hands shake and when the shutter is open longer the more still you must be. Try resting the camera on a car, a fence or a tripod and they'll be much more clear. The ones I got, I was actually resting my camera on the roof of my patio. It was the perfect height to catch those shots. The other one's have to be far down in the western sky so I can rest the camera on the fence. hehehe Thanks for the comment my friend!

Wow, that's cool. Now that I've taken up photography, I'd love to travel. Ireland is actually at the top of my list. I'd also like to see Egypt and Morocco, Israel, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. I'll get there. I'd love to take three months off of work and just travel. I better win our lottery. Hehehe. So, where are you going in September?
